REFUND, CANCELLATION & RETURN POLICY at MZ MEDICAL

- GENERAL INFORMATION
This policy applies to services and digital products purchased through MZ Medical, operated by mariazalazarmedical OÜ, Estonia.
It covers medical second opinions, educational services, professional advisory services, courses, e-books, mentorship programmes, digital resources and gift cards.
All purchases are subject to applicable consumer protection legislation and the terms agreed at the time of purchase.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights.
- MEDICAL SECOND OPINIONS AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Medical second opinions and related professional services require professional time, preparation and individual assessment.
Clients may request cancellation before the service begins.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, including an applicable 14-day withdrawal period, clients may exercise that right in accordance with the relevant legislation.
If a client expressly requests that a service begins during the statutory cancellation period, MZ Medical may charge a proportionate amount for work already completed when the client cancels, provided the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.
Where a service has been fully performed following the client’s express request and acknowledgement of the consequences for cancellation rights, the statutory withdrawal right may end as permitted by law.
A completed professional assessment or second opinion does not automatically become refundable because the client disagrees with its conclusions.
This does not affect statutory rights where a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.
- APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING
Clients should notify MZ Medical as early as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Requests are considered according to the booking conditions communicated before payment, the work already undertaken and applicable consumer rights.
Where MZ Medical cancels an appointment and cannot provide an agreed alternative, the client will be entitled to a refund for the service not provided.
Any cancellation charges must be reasonable, proportionate and legally permitted.
- DIGITAL PRODUCTS, E-BOOKS AND RECORDED COURSES
Digital products may include downloadable e-books, educational materials, recorded courses and other electronic resources.
Access may be provided immediately following successful payment.
Where applicable law provides a statutory withdrawal period, this right remains available unless the legal conditions for its loss have been satisfied.
For digital content supplied immediately, customers may be asked to provide express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that this may result in the loss of their statutory withdrawal right once supply begins, where permitted by law.
Accessing or downloading digital content does not automatically remove statutory cancellation rights unless the relevant legal requirements have been satisfied.
Where digital content is faulty, inaccessible or does not conform to applicable legal requirements, the customer retains the remedies provided by law.
- LIVE COURSES, MENTORSHIPS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES
Live courses, mentorships and educational programmes may involve reserved places, scheduled sessions and advance preparation.
Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements will be communicated before purchase.
Where applicable, statutory withdrawal rights remain available.
If a programme begins during a statutory cancellation period at the customer’s express request, any permitted charge for services supplied before cancellation will be calculated in accordance with applicable law.
Where MZ Medical cancels a programme and no acceptable alternative is provided, customers will receive a refund for the undelivered service.
- BUSINESS ADVISORY AND CONSULTING SERVICES
Business advisory engagements, scientific assessments, strategic consultancy and professional project work may be governed by separate written agreements.
These agreements may specify project milestones, deposits, cancellation conditions, payment schedules and fees for completed work.
Where a client cancels an engagement, charges may apply for services already performed and other amounts lawfully due under the agreed contract.
Mandatory legal rights cannot be excluded by a separate agreement.
- GIFT CARDS AND PREPAID SERVICES
Gift cards and prepaid services are subject to the conditions communicated at purchase.
Any expiry period, redemption conditions and restrictions must be disclosed before payment.
Unused gift cards or prepaid services may be refundable where required by applicable law.
Gift cards do not remove any mandatory consumer cancellation or refund rights.
- REFUNDS AND PAYMENT PROCESSING
Refund requests should be submitted to info@mz-medical.com.
Please include the purchaser’s name, order reference, date of purchase and the product or service concerned.
Medical records or sensitive health information should not be included in an ordinary refund request unless specifically necessary and requested through an appropriate secure method.
Refunds will be assessed according to the service or product purchased, work already completed, the agreed terms and applicable law.
Approved refunds will normally be issued through the original payment method.
Where a statutory refund is due, it will be processed within the legally required period. Where applicable, this is generally within 14 days of receiving a valid cancellation request.
The time required for funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
- TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
If a customer experiences technical difficulties accessing a purchased digital product, they should contact info@mz-medical.com.
MZ Medical will seek to restore access or provide an appropriate alternative.
Where the problem cannot be resolved, statutory remedies, including refunds where applicable, will remain available.
- INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
MZ Medical serves an international audience.
Consumer cancellation and refund rights vary according to the customer’s country, the nature of the purchase and the applicable legal framework.
Where mandatory local consumer protection laws provide rights that differ from this policy, those mandatory rights will prevail.
Nothing in this policy restricts statutory remedies for services or digital products that are not supplied as agreed or do not meet legally required standards.
- POLICY UPDATES
MZ Medical may update this policy to reflect changes in legislation, services and business operations.
The version applicable to an existing purchase will be determined by the terms and mandatory legal requirements relevant to that transaction.
